"Under the requirements of Regulation 6(3) and (4) of the Ionising Radiations Regulations
1999 all site radiography companies are obliged to notify HSE on each and every occasion
they carry out site radiography. Site radiography refers to work that cannot be carried
out In a suitable shielded enclosure either because the item to be radiographed is
too large to fit into such an enclosure or it is integral to the plant on site and
cannot be removed. The notification needs to be made at least 7 days in advance of
the work taking place.
HSE has a dedicated team to deal with such notifications.”

As a consequence we have not visited the site during this time and have not, therefore, examined any of the records referred to in your request.”
